We use composite resin fillings — a tooth-colored material that bonds directly to the tooth and blends in seamlessly with your natural enamel. Unlike old silver amalgam fillings, composite fillings require less removal of healthy tooth structure and look completely natural.
If you have old metal fillings you’d like replaced for cosmetic or comfort reasons, we can discuss that too. We’ll give you an honest assessment of whether replacement makes sense for your situation.

Most fillings are completed in a single visit, usually 30–60 minutes depending on the size and location of the cavity.
Mild sensitivity after a filling is normal and usually resolves within a few days. If sensitivity persists or your bite feels off, call us — it’s an easy adjustment.

In many cases, yes — though we’ll assess whether replacement is actually warranted. If an old amalgam filling is intact and not causing problems, removing it unnecessarily takes away healthy tooth structure.
