We’re here when it hurts.
When something goes wrong, the last thing you want to hear is “the earliest we can see you is next week.” We make it a priority to see emergency patients the same day they call — usually within hours.
When you call, we’ll triage over the phone, give you advice on managing discomfort in the meantime, and get you in as quickly as possible.
What counts as a dental emergency?

Know the Difference
When to call us. When to go to the ER.
Most dental emergencies are best handled at our office. But some situations need emergency room care first. Please go to the ER or call 911 if you experience:

Severe facial swelling affecting breathing or swallowing

Facial trauma from an accident or fall

Uncontrolled bleeding

High fever alongside dental pain or swelling
Once you’ve been seen at the ER, call us — we’ll coordinate your follow-up dental care from there.
Knocked out a tooth? Keep it moist by placing it in a cup of milk. Call us immediately. Time matters.
Common Questions
What patients ask when they call.
Call us as soon as possible — a toothache rarely resolves on its own and usually signals something that needs treatment. In the meantime, ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help manage pain. Don’t place aspirin directly on the tooth or gum.
Not always painful, but call us as soon as possible. The exposed tooth can be sensitive and is vulnerable to further damage. Keep the crown safe and bring it with you — we may be able to re-cement it.
We do our best to see emergency patients the same day. Call as early as you can. If you reach us after hours, leave a message and we’ll get back to you first thing.
Most PPO plans include some coverage for emergency exams and treatment. We check your benefits before we begin and let you know what to expect — no surprise bills.
