Why Professional Whitening
More than strips can deliver.
Over-the-counter products use lower-concentration gel in trays that don’t fit your teeth precisely — which means uneven results and more sensitivity for less brightness. Professional whitening uses prescription-strength gel in custom-fitted trays or applied in-office with protective barriers in place.
Because we look at your teeth before we start, we can also tell you honestly whether whitening will give you the result you’re picturing — not every type of discoloration responds the same way.
In-office whitening
Done in about an hour. Most patients see significant brightening in one session — great if you have something coming up.
Take-home kit
Custom trays with professional-grade gel. Results develop over 1–2 weeks. Reusable for touch-ups whenever you want to refresh.

Common Questions
Before you book.
Some patients experience mild, temporary sensitivity during or after whitening — most describe it as a brief “zingy” feeling that passes within a day or two. Desensitizing toothpaste beforehand helps, and if sensitivity is a concern, tell us and we’ll adjust.
Typically 6 months to 2 years, depending on diet and habits. Coffee, tea, red wine, and smoking all affect longevity. Take-home trays make touch-ups easy.
Whitening works only on natural enamel — it won’t change the color of crowns, veneers, or bonding. We’ll let you know before you start if this affects your expected result.
Whitening is cosmetic and typically not covered. We’ll give you clear pricing before you start — no surprises.
